The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is a state wide campus, with faculty based on University campuses, at Research and Extension Centers and in every Arkansas county. It consists of the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) and the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service (CES), and is home to more than 1400 employees. The Division was established in 1959 and is headed by the Vice-President for Agriculture. Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Leadership, Education, Marketing, Public Relations, Agricultural Education, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in program coordination, education, student support, event planning, or administrative support preferred.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
· Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to create clear, professional correspondence and program materials.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data management, mass communication software, and social media applications.
· Proficiency in website content management systems and basic understanding of web analytics preferred.
· Experience in marketing, communications, or public relations is beneficial.
· Experience in graphic design and desktop publishing preferred.
· Ability to organize and coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, travel, and events.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service orientation.
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and recordkeeping abilities.
· Ability to exercise initiative, make sound judgments, work without close supervision, and respond effectively to the needs of supervisors, colleagues, and clientele.
Additional Information:
This position requires occasional evening or weekend work to support events or deadlines. Travel may be required for onsite event support, program activities, or meetings.
