Duties and Responsibilities of the Position

  • Weekly system set-up of new candidates in the system
  • Time entry in the company's software of weekly hours worked by Travel Nurses
  • Resolves timecard or approval issues related to non-compliant employees
  • Attends to all inquiries sent to the team distribution email, escalating issues to the Supervisor per standard protocols
  • Process timecards weekly ensuring accurate and timely payroll and billing for assigned COA’s
  • Coordinate with the US based management and FOS Billing Specialists to address any issues or concerns and coordinate terminations, pay increases, pay corrections and new starts.
  • Overview of COA calls, emails, and texts assuring that all communications are being responded to timely and efficiently.  
  • Meeting with internal departments to create a cohesive work environment. 
  • Assist in audit operations.  
  • Ensures that all payroll documentation is retained in the appropriate drive.  
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing payroll procedures.  
  • Maintains regular contact with other departments/vendors/customers to obtain and convey information. 
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems. 
  • Prepare reports for various departments and upper management. 
  • Assist in a wide variety of department assignments and/or special projects and other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in payroll processing and financial operations.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
  • Experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with exposure to payroll functions.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) in an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate computation of wages, taxes, and deductions.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Comfort with using and adapting to new technologies and software related to payroll processing.
  • Team player and respectful of company protocols/policies
  • Good time management skills / can multi-task
