The position of Revenue Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of Revenue Operations Specialists supporting the Sports Medicine commercial organizations across International Markets (EMEA, APAC). This leader helps localize cluster go-to-market plans, supports sales activation for local markets, and enables disciplined execution across capital, Advanced Enabling Technologies (AET), and consumables. The role acts as the operating backbone of the commercial organization, ensuring forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, territory effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making at scale. The Revenue Operations Manager acts as a trusted thought partner to Sales, Marketing, and regional leadership teams.
This role is part of the International Commercial Planning team and reports to the Senior Director for Commercial Planning Sports Medicine in the International Markets.
Location: Germany, field based (Hamburg or Munich preferred)
What will you be doing?
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Revenue Operations Specialists, fostering high performance and continuous improvement
Design and deploy territory management and forecasting tools that embed disciplined planning, balanced selling, and clear accountability
Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless collaboration and shared ownership of outcomes
Enable alignment between marketing campaigns and sales execution, improving prioritization, follow-up, and conversion
Monitor capital selling execution and ensure structured tracking of opportunities through defined sales stages
Localize global go-to-market initiatives into actionable regional and country-level sales activation plans
Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve execution effectiveness across the commercial lifecycle
Build and maintain a single, trusted view of pipeline, performance, and activity across capital, AET, and consumables
Partner with Finance and commercial leadership to support resource planning, capital allocation, and investment prioritization
Ensure data integrity and effective use of CRM and reporting tools to support commercial execution
What will you need to be successful?
Bachelor/Master’s degree in e.g. Business, Engineering, Analytics, Economics or similar subject
5-8 years of relevant experience in Sales Management, Revenue Operations, Commercial Excellence, Management Consulting, or related roles
Proven experience managing and developing teams of individual contributors
Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning in the MedTech industry / Medical Devices (for both implants and capital business)
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed, international environment
Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning in Medical Device (implant and capital business)
Experience with CRM systems, analytics, and performance reporting
Seniority in ability to influence, excellent analytical and strategic thinking as well as comprehensive management skills (change management, governance, decision making)
Travel requirement: Up to 20%
Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus
