The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Fall Protection Specialist in NSW, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Prioritizing key customer Fall Protection opportunities

  • Managing Fall Protection penetration within key end-user and distributor customers

  • Providing Fall Protection regional training and support to both internal core sales team and external customer base utilizing the Fall Protection demo trailer

  • Assisting in prioritization of key new Fall Protection products

  • Achieve Fall protection Sales Targets for NSW territory

  • Some weekend attendance is expected at major trade shows.  Country territory & interstate travel with some overnight stays, as required per sales plan.

  • Travel as required for National/Regional Sales Meetings, Operations Meetings, Strategic Planning, training at Head Office in Sydney.

  • This role requires the ability to set up and clear trade shows, run product trials, and also to demonstrate technical product applications.

  • This role requires the willingness and ability to work safely at heights. Successful applicant will be provided with training appropriate to this requirement

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M seeks a candidate with the following qualifications:

  •  Higher School Certificate or equivalent

  • No Specific Tertiary Qualifications required

  • The incumbent will ideally have formal business qualifications at a tertiary level or have achieved equivalence through diversified experience in industry and commerce. Postgraduate qualifications would be highly regarded.

  • 3-5 years Sales experience with proven results, preferably within industrial sales

  • Key Account Management experience preferred

  • Understand category management, motivational tools

  • Basic understanding of finance, logistics, operations and good business acumen
