ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Implementation Technical Consultant, you’ll be responsible for delivering seamless, scalable integrations between Global Payments and our ISV and enterprise partners. You’ll own the technical implementation process end-to-end—translating partner requirements into real-world deployments, guiding them through discovery, integration, testing, and go-live.

You’ll play a hands-on role in building and configuring integration environments, solving implementation challenges, and ensuring that every deployment meets quality, compliance, and business objectives. Your deep technical expertise and problem-solving mindset will ensure our partners get the most out of our platforms and APIs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering with partners to inform integration design.

  • Own and execute the full integration lifecycle: architecture, environment setup, testing, certification, and production deployment.

  • Configure and support sandbox environments and test data aligned to product and partner requirements.

  • Guide partners through API integration, ensuring correct usage of endpoints, authentication methods, and data models.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues during implementation and work closely with internal engineering teams to resolve blockers.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Onboarding teams to ensure implementation aligns with platform capabilities and roadmap.

  • Provide clear and structured documentation (e.g., solution designs, technical specs, implementation playbooks).

  • Support partners through QA and UAT phases, ensuring readiness for production and go-to-market.

  • Identify opportunities to improve integration frameworks, tools, and documentation for future projects.

We’re looking for a hands-on implementation expert who thrives in dynamic, partner-facing environments. You’re someone who enjoys solving complex problems, guiding clients through technical processes, and turning requirements into real, scalable solutions.

You’ll Also Bring

  • 5+ years in a technical implementation, integration engineering, or solutions delivery role—preferably within Payments, SaaS, or API-based platforms.

  • Proven experience delivering partner integrations end-to-end, from discovery through to go-live.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of APIs (REST, OAuth2, webhooks, error handling) and integration tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.

  • Experience in configuring sandbox environments, managing test cases, and supporting QA/UAT processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations across enterprise or ISV partners.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to explain technical details clearly to a range of stakeholders.

  • Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate risks and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outcomes.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and time-critical deliverables.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, data mapping, and common integration challenges is a plus.

SALARY

  • The salary range for this role is $125, 000 – 135, 000 per annum + super
