Able to draft or review regulatory responses according to regulatory requirements, reasonably arrange all internal and external compliance reports to ensure timely reporting, effective communication between internal and external departments.

Continuously and proactively review, recommend and then implement approved changes to the compliance manuals, guidelines, standards and company procedures to meet both local regulatory requirements and those of RGA.

Continuously monitor all current and changes in local legislation related to insurance industry, market conduct issues and labor standards and advise of recommendations to ensure compliance.

Responsible for the risk management related work, including policy/procedure creation and revision, local quarterly ARMC meeting preparation, RGA risk assessment monitoring, local risk assessment report writing and submission.

Responsible for the supervision and management of the operation of AML&CFT system, handle routine AML/CFT work (monitoring the declaration of suspected money laundering/terrorist transactions, major negative news figures, updating OFAC Taiwanese list, etc.), update the IRA annually.

Report or assist to escalate any perceived breach of compliance internally or externally in accordance with local/RGA policies procedures or the requirements of regulations.
Coordinate and respond to related with the external audits (Deloitte and FSC Inspection). Liaise and communicate with relevant department heads on prior preparation and reporting issues.

In addition to routine work, give constructive opinions on temporary compliance issues, internal audit (IA) and projects, be responsible for multi-party communication, and actively engage the implementation and completion of issues, IA and projects. Assist APAC Audit Team upon selecting local vendors if outsourcing is the Team’s choice.
Familiar with the company's business, able to actively explore and suggest specific processes and methods for improving compliance work.
