About the Role

The incumbent serves as the liaison and the reference point between the Business/ technical analyst and the IT vendors/developer/programmer in making sure the Business Requirements are clearly understood and translated to the functional requirements by leveraging on the resources and skill-set within and across the work-streams.

Drive the stakeholders for completion of documentation relating to business requirement capturing and system designing specifications with required verifications and sign-off. (URSs and SFSs)

Manage solution providers through the RFP, Procurement and sourcing, legal and technology risks related documentation and timely payments to ensure successful closure of the projects (solution delivery and implementation)

Manage the UAT process and solution implementations with timely go-live Work with Business Users to ensure preparation and validations of UAT plans including the Test Scripts as per the signed off URSs/ SFSs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the business users and the functional management to enhance the IT Application Systems architecture and overall alignment to the business needs
  • Provide required support to the reporting management when attending on the IT risks and audit compliance related activities.
  •  Ensure availability of technical documentation required for maintenance of the IT Application Systems, including system architecture and process flow diagrams, data communication and integration methodologies, database structures and design related details etc.
  • Ensure applications are developed and transferred to production environments in compliance to the AIA standards.
  • To analyze business issues and recommends best practices and technical expertise and solves straight forward problems by applying innovative solutions
  • To review Business Scenario and test scripting in ensuring they are in line with the business requirements. To conduct the review sessions with the users to ensure acceptance and signed off by users
  • To lead a group of business analyst/business analyst in Business Requirement scoping and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, ensure business process training to testers for comprehensive system testing.
  • Project manage the business and IT system enhancement/ new product launch and new initiatives to ensure quality delivery and launch within timeline.
  • Prepare overall status and activity metrics that documents and tracks delivery of IT services, planned and unplanned system outages, and other key IT performance metrics
  • Maintains overall security of the data privacy and network to ensure proper compliance in place. 
  • Support the Head of Application / CTOO in all aspects of discipline and as when required. 
  • • To work closely with the relevant parties including the Group Tech Office and or Group Tech Risk to carry out the disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity methodology (BCM) as per the agreed timeline.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of working experiences, including 5 years of experiences in infrastructure domain including helpdesk, application hosting, voice and data networks, security and information protection. 
  • Experience of leading overall infrastructure for a complex organization and network, including multicounty setup, VLAN setup for regulatory requirement, managing data protection, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) and related technologies, Cisco based network communications technology, High availability and disaster recovery architecture, communication and related technologies 
  • Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption. 
  • Experience with regulatory compliance issues, as well best practices in application and network security.
