Job Description

Manage the Demand Planning process for respective businesses in the Philips Costa Rica factory. Align production plans with business goals to optimize resources, achieve customer satisfaction, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and team growth.

Your Role:

• Maintain the demand plan for respective business and or Customer Planning Groups and ensure timely updates for meetings and business planning snapshots.

• Ellaborate the Master Porduction Schedule based on the Poduction Demand Plan acording to the soft and hard capacity constraint.

• Lead the capacity analysis for a repective business ensuring to have the correct resources at the time needed. 

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Finance to achieve the sales, marketing and/or consensus forecast as input for the Supply Plan and  S&OP meeting.

• Works with Supply Planner to ensure supply meets demand and Marketing when allocations are required if in a supply constrained environment.

• Coordinate with Opex, Human Resources and Training the headcount required for the following months.

• Identify and lead saving projects.

• Manage products transfers from the  Planning & Supply Chain perspective, phase outs/phase ins.

• Lead Production Planning Process improvements

• Create what ifs scenarios as needed

• Provide visibility of absorption variations versus AOP based on volumes committed

You’re the right fit if:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field (APICS certification is a plus).

• You have 4+ years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, or Demand Planning —preferably within the Medical Equipment & Devices industry.

• You have advanced proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.

• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an on-site role (Administrative shift - M to F 8:00 - 5:00pm)
