The Data Analyst plays a key role in advancing Product Data Governance by owning master data quality improvements, defining enterprise data standards, and driving cross-functional alignment across product data domains within Supply Chain. This role partners closely with data owners, stewards, and business stakeholders to proactively prevent data quality issues, enable scalable governance processes, and ensure trusted product master data across ERP and downstream systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and adoption of product data standards, definitions, and business rules in partnership with data owners and data stewards.
  • Independently analyze complex product master data issues, identify systemic root causes, and drive sustainable corrective actions across processes and systems.
  • Design, implement, and monitor data quality KPIs, controls, and scorecards to proactively prevent supply chain, regulatory, and customer impacts.
  • Own preparation and delivery of data quality insights for data governance forums, including issue prioritization, trend analysis, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement of product data quality through automation, scalable data quality checks, and coordinated data remediation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain product data metadata and data catalog content to improve data transparency, discoverability, and governance maturity.
  • Partner cross-functionally to design and improve end-to-end product data processes for product creation, change, and discontinuation, ensuring alignment across ERP platforms.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support executive-level visibility into data quality health and governance performance.
  • Apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies to close data and process gaps across business units.
  • Support accountability and escalation mechanisms by clearly communicating data risks, root causes, and recommended actions to stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Quality, or Data Governance, with demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives.
  • Experience supporting product data in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving data quality improvements at scale.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Charts), and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems, master data structures, and product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to influence without authority and effectively partner across functions and geographies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate data insights into business impact.
