OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 

The LIMS Business Analyst will assist in defining, developing, and validating requirements and LabWare LIMS applications/interfaces to meet business processes and application requirements.

LabWare LIMS Project Tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom functionality in LIMS to meet business requirements.

• Implement new enhancements and modifications to the system while ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and maintain custom scripts using LIMS Basic to automate workflows and improve system functionality.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom functionality in LIMS to meet business requirements.

• Develop and maintain custom scripts using LIMS Basic to automate workflows and improve system functionality.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom functionality in LIMS to meet business requirements.

• Develop and maintain custom scripts using LIMS Basic to automate workflows and improve system functionality.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews).

• Work closely with business analysts, system architects, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Estimate development efforts, prioritize tasks, and collaborate within an iterative development framework.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Labware LIMS issues, ensuring minimal downtime and effective resolution of incidents.

• Assist with system validations, deployments, and documentation in a regulated environment.

• Work independently but recognize the need to consult stakeholders and keep them informed of the progress.

• Exposure to Agile project methodology.

• Demonstrated skills: Analytical, great communication, agile mindset, positive thinking, consulting behaviour, and team player.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in r related field.

• Fluency in English is a must.

• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical laboratory regulatory constraints and process.

• 3-5 years of experience in Pharma QC environment.

• Experience with LIMS in a QC laboratory.

• Experience participating in change to process or software in the lab.

• Experience with system documentation, e.g. User Stories or requirements documentation.

• Experience in Business Analytics.

• Experience in generating user stories.

• Experience in clinical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing is a plus.

• Availability to travel may be required.
