ROLE
We are looking for interns to join us as Transaction Advisory Analysts for a 6- month period in our Barcelona office.
As a Transaction Advisory Analyst, you will work on client projects as part of a team and be responsible for supporting buy- and sell-side transaction projects. You will play a key role in gathering and analyzing data, preparing transaction process-related documentation, scouting, and qualifying potential targets, and supporting the transaction process from outreach through negotiations of deal terms and structures.
Conduct research and business analysis of healthcare companies and segments.
Identify and qualify potential targets for buy- and sell-side projects.
Develop and edit slide presentations, process timelines, target lists or other communications to run the transaction process.
Monitor important developments, initiatives, news, legislation, corporation activities and M&A transactions, analyzing the impact to strategies and business plans.
Support in the preparation of marketing documents for M&A transactions (teaser, Memorandum of Information, Management Presentations...).
Assist in the elaboration of financial valuations (transaction and trading multiples, DCF/ rNPV).
Assist in the preparation business proposals, presentations and marketing materials.
Graduating or newly graduated students with MSc in business, Economics, Finance or MSc in Life Sciences related programs looking for an internship at the intersection of the management consulting and healthcare industries.
Fluent in English
Excellent proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint are a must).
Healthcare, engineering or Life Sciences studies and/or meaningful past experience in these areas is strongly desirable.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, strong attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Strong finance basis and company valuation techniques for the M&A Analyst position
