Job Description:

A Quality Audit Technician works under the direction of the Quality Lead and the role is central to ensuring that Velonetic’s operation teams across all locations deliver a high quality service.  It focuses on output quality for the Core business, by carrying out technical quality audits; analysing the reports; identifying root causes and liaising with the Quality Lead who will take the necessary action to address any issues identified in the audit.

The Quality Audit Technician will provide additional support to the Quality Lead (who is also responsible for delivering CAPA (Corrective Action, Preventative Action) projects).

‘Targeted Quality Audits’ (TQAs) will be identified by the Quality Lead and the topics will vary, for example: an audit of specific legislation change; an audit of a change in process; an audit of a team or technician experiencing quality issues. Strong technical knowledge is to be applied in order to audit the specific area identified which should ultimately result in quality of a sufficient standard when changes occur or areas need improvement.

This role interacts regularly with the operating units and support areas and is regarded as an expert in quality and technical matters.

This position is recognised for its depth and breadth of knowledge and expertise in both technical and market wide processes and procedures as well as for its’ interaction with various internal and external stakeholders.
