  • 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts.
  • Includes one weekend day.
  • 2-3 nights of on-call duties per week.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a full-time remote Telehealth Crisis Shift Leader to provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Health Providers in addition to direct services to students utilizing Mantra’s ConnectNow service, an in-the-moment crisis/support line for college students. In this role, you will use active listening and solution-focused approaches to collaboratively engage students seeking support with mental health concerns. In cases of high risk, you will assess the situation and recommend appropriate crisis interventions for implementation by individual students, campus staff, and community helpers. Compensation: The expected salary for this position is approximately $75,000 annually with benefits

As a Telehealth Crisis Shift Leader, You Will:

  • Report to and be supported by the Director of High Acuity Services.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Behavioral Health Providers.
  • Conduct chart reviews and give feedback to supervised staff.
  • Provide warm, empathetic responses to incoming calls from students needing support or who may be in crisis.
  • Complete risk assessments and de-escalate crisis intensity to prevent self-harm or harm to others; support supervised staff and other Mantra clinic providers in these activities as needed.
  • Support students seeking ongoing care via external referrals, referrals to Mantra Care or available campus resources.
  • Maintain clinical documentation, ensuring detailed and accurate logging of user sessions.
  • Work with other clinic leaders to support risk management, quality, and performance management across the clinic.

Who You Are:

  • Hold an independent, unrestricted license from any state to practice counseling and/or psychotherapy (state equivalent of LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist etc.)
  • 1+ years in a clinical supervisory role or 2+ years in a direct clinical role; preference given to those with experience in a crisis intervention, community mental health, or hospital environment.
  • Highly preferred: 2+ years of experience in a crisis management supervisory role and 3+ years total direct service experience.
  • Experience with supporting individuals in crisis or with high acuity concerns.
  • Training and experience in assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
  • Ability to learn, maintain and demonstrate mastery of clinical policy, call handling, and operational protocols.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and maturity.
  • Ability to exercise excellent independent judgment.
  • A track record of success collaborating with external partners or other service providers.
  • Eagerness for professional and personal growth opportunities.
  • Scheduling flexibility to swap shifts on a limited basis to fill scheduling gaps.
