The Opportunity

For Abbott Structural Heart Division we are looking for an experienced Structural Interventions (SI) Sales Supervisor to join our great team in Poland.

Sales Supervisor promotes Abbott SI products (LAA, PFO, ASD) through sales calls, marketing & education activities and procedures support for current and potential customers within a defined territory. We are looking for a person based in Warsaw area.

The main purpose of the job:

  • The SI Sales Supervisor works in partnership with the Therapy Specialists to help establish new accounts, engage and develop KOLs, assist with training internal and external people on SI Therapy, and provide clinical support. Applies extensive clinical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • This is a critical role in educating customers across the clinical use continuum including hospital administration, interventional cardiology, cardiology, cardiac surgery, nursing, and heart failure to drive safe treatment of patients. You will have responsibility for development of site expertise in mitral/tricuspid valve disease, patient screening with utilizing echocardiographic images.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead development of market education, promotion, PR activities, conference, publication
  • Implement local and national marketing initiatives to build brand development of SI and maximize Abbott SI product portfolio awareness.
  • Product launches strategy implementation
  • Develop customer training and implementation plans
  • Provide clinical and technical support to customers and prospective customers by responding to inquiries and providing effective and timely resources.
  • Build and maintain effective professional relationships with key physicians and SI Lab personnel and drive customer satisfaction through close follow up.
  • Collect high potential accounts data to build market assessment file to identify and expand business opportunities
  • Gather, report and communicate customers' feedback on service and product to upper management
  • Deliver sales results respecting profitability, business plan, fair market share and ethical business behavior
  • Business Planning and Forecasting
  • Control budget approved Marketing& Training plans
  • Responsible and supervising of 2 Sales&Therapy Specialists.
  • Development and mentoring direct team members in field activities.
  • Continuous follow-up with TS (Therapy Specialists) on targets with respect to the managed line of business.

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Bioengineering or Life Science
  • 5 years of related work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area (SH), or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Prior experiences should have been gained in product-related industries, preferably in sales. Interventional Cardiology experience is a plus.
  • Advanced (spoken and written) in English and  fluent Polish.
  • Sales, presentation, and negotiation skills & advanced communication skills
  • Able to work unsupervised and be initiative when seeking tasks,  set up priorities and work under pressure
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented & customer focused
  • Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and having analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Willingness & ability to travel more than 80 % of the time.
