RPA Developer

Prologis is looking to recruit an RPA Developer to work within the Accounting team based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. As part of the RPA Center of Excellence (CoE) you will be responsible for designing and developing RPA (Robotics Process Automation) solutions according to the Prologis framework. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining RPA workflows with our Uipath RPA software.  You will perform code reviews, monitor robot performance and utilize and improve Prologis RPA best practices and standards. You will be involved in business process review, mapping and optimization.

You will work in the RPA & Project Management team reporting to the Director of RPA & Project Management. The team consist of 3 RPA resources and 2 Project Managers.  You will work very closely with and be part of the greater Denver based FAST team, which is a team solely focused on process improvements, automation initiatives, ERP governance and data management.

Your general tasks & responsibilities

  • Deliver RPA Implementations
    • Participate in Process Discovery sessions
    • Work with Solution Architect and RPA Technical Lead on solution design
    • Develop, test and implement using Uipath RPA software
    • Provide post-production support for end-users
  • Monitor Robot performance
    • Work on maintaining and improving global RPA IT infrastructure
    • Manage Orchestrator platform, monitor global robot performance and resolve errors
    • Provide both technical and functional assistance to local end-users
  • Act as the global subject matter expert and business partner
    • Share process knowledge and deliver impactful input to automation projects and other initiatives
    • Obtain a thorough understanding of the operational processes and general IT functions
    • Identify and recommend solutions with new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
    • Act as internal consultant to the business understanding technical, compliance and security risks
    • Stay abreast of new developments in the realm of RPA and other innovative technologies, ensuring new best practices are adopted and spread within our RPA framework
    • Help to enforce and improve our coding standards, policies and procedures
    • Partner with business teams to champion the impact of process optimization and automation and identify new project opportunities

Tell us if you are ready?

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance or Business
  • IT experience and understanding of programming concepts
  • Programming experience in specific coding language(s) like .NET
  • 2+ experience with Uipath RPA software
  • UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification is preferred
  • Knowledge of financial systems (preferably PeopleSoft and Yardi)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Some experience in project and change management
  • Thorough and detail-oriented, strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Customer service focus across all functional areas with ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solid writing skills, and excellent spoken communication skills in English
