Amentum is seeking a Asset Accountability Specialist Journeyman to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains comprehensive IT asset records in accordance with AR 25-1, DoD, and IC policies, supporting ARNG G-2 and regional readiness objectives.
  • Conducts life-cycle asset management and inventory control functions, securing hardware, software, and spares from acquisition through final disposition.
  • Performs physical and virtual inventories across assigned areas, validating asset tagging, classification, warranty coverage, and lifecycle status. Supports reconciliation of personal property records, prepares audit-ready documentation, and assists in service agreement tracking and return merchandise authorizations.
  • Prepares Asset Management Inventory Reports and highlights discrepancies, EOL alerts, and service timelines. Tracks acquisition and procurement documentation, conducts vendor research, and coordinates delivery tracking to maintain visibility across the asset lifecycle.
  • Maintains and updates the Asset Management Database and supporting systems to enable data queries, asset reporting, and integration with CMDB, Change Management, IT Service Desk, and infrastructure discovery platforms. Collaborates with supply officers and state stakeholders to resolve inventory issues and support property accountability reviews.
  • Contributes to readiness dashboards, market research, and procurement documentation development by analyzing cost data, delivery timelines, and vendor communications. Supports regional consultants by executing inventory control procedures and advancing asset visibility into ARNG MI systems. Actively supports Amentum’s implementation of the B2C2WG (Boards, Bureau, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups) model.

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
  • 4-9 Years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
