Job description

The Delivery Management Professional  independently manages less complex deliveries, solves problems within their scope, builds stakeholder relationships, and begins to align their work with broader objectives while supporting team development. In this role, you will take ownership of clearly defined tasks, smaller projects, or initiatives, and contribute to larger project scopes. Depending on the organization's needs, you may operate within role archetypes such as Project Manager, Service Coordinator, or Scrum Master.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with experience working within Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, or Pharmacovigilance / Safety team with a solid understanding on the E2E process flow across R&D.  Additionally, a proven track record of navigating the stringent requirements of GxP environments (GCP, GMP, GVP) and managing complex, cross-functional data workflows is highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities

• Scope / (Content Leadership): Provides expert guidance and strategic direction on defining and managing scope for complex or high-impact initiatives. Develops, implements, and champions scope management strategies, frameworks, and best practices for relevant initiatives. Oversees the management of significant scope changes, ensuring strategic alignment and minimal disruption, while proactively identifying and driving improvements to scope-related processes for enhanced delivery efficiency.

• Stakeholder Management: Identifies key stakeholders, including senior management, across organizational boundaries and analyzes complex stakeholder networks. Develops and executes comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communication plans. Influences stakeholder decisions related to delivery, navigates conflicts to achieve alignment, and builds strong collaborative relationships across the organization.

• Impact/Strategy: Provides consistent leadership and significant impact across major products within a product line or domain. Drives significant impact on projects and programs by embedding Agile best practices and leading organizational change initiatives. Leads the evaluation of strategic solution options, fosters a culture of innovation, and proactively proposes improvements to help implement strategic objectives.

• Complexity / (Product Size): Manages complex projects or services, potentially across domains, and leads delivery within a program or large initiative. Manages highly complex delivery involving multiple dependencies, opportunities, and risks. Handles ambiguous delivery requirements and leads the implementation of delivery frameworks while navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.

• Strategic Facilitation: Acts as an essential catalyst between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical implementation teams. Facilitates alignment across cross-functional squads to ensure digital capabilities are delivered efficiently and translate into measurable business value.

• Agile Delivery Enablement: Empowers the team to seamlessly translate complex business requirements into refined, actionable user stories and sprint increments, removing systemic blockers to accelerate the delivery of digital capabilities.

• GxP Compliance & Quality Governance: Partners with the team to ensure Agile processes, definition of done (DoD), and delivery lifecycles inherently adhere to strict global regulatory guidelines, data integrity principles, and company SOPs without sacrificing team velocity.

• Cross-Functional Ecosystem Collaboration: Fosters collaboration and manages dependencies across global IT, validation leads, and external system vendors. Ensures platform upgrades, integrations, and releases are effectively planned and executed without disrupting business continuity.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Agile Team Leadership & Autonomy: Demonstrated experience driving high-performing, self-sufficient, cross-functional project or product teams. Proven capability to coach team members toward autonomy, enabling them to drive deliverables independently under minimal supervision.

• Agile Delivery & Backlog Management: Proven capability to partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to facilitate the requirements lifecycle. Expert at guiding teams to smoothly translate complex business needs into a healthy, prioritized backlog of well-defined user stories and technical tasks.

• Continuous Improvement & Servant Leadership: A track record of actively driving personal professional growth while championing internal Agile knowledge-sharing initiatives, mentoring junior Scrum Masters, and leading corporate Communities of Practice.

Technical / Business Skills

• Workflow Optimization & Technical Alignment: Proven capability to facilitate the team’s design of automated system workflows, ensuring technical dependencies and cross-platform compatibility are proactively mapped and aligned with business requirements.

• Delivery Enablement & Sprint Execution: Experience guiding technical teams through complex system configurations, business rule logic, and platform customizations, ensuring sprint commitments align precisely with user requirements and operational priorities.

• Testing & Validation Governance: Ability to coach and support the team in planning and executing comprehensive testing cycles (unit, integration, and UAT), ensuring testing strategies meet rigorous GxP validation compliance and quality benchmarks.

• Agile Documentation & Artifact Management: Proficiency in coaching the team and Product Owner on creating, and delivering on high-quality Agile artifacts, ensuring user stories, functional specifications, and process maps.

Additional Qualifications

• Life Sciences Domain Expertise: Extensive experience working within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences consultancy sectors, with a deep understanding of the operational dynamics and milestones unique to Clinical, Regulatory, or Safety/Pharmacovigilance environments.

• Agile Leadership in GxP Frameworks: A proven track record of coaching teams and delivering digital capabilities within strictly regulated GxP environments (GCP, GMP, GVP). Adept at balancing Agile flexibility and velocity with rigorous compliance, data integrity, and automated systems validation protocols.

• Value Stream Optimization: Strong capability to help teams identify operational bottlenecks, fragmented workflows, and systemic blockers—utilizing Agile metrics and continuous improvement to help the team deliver streamlined, compliant software increments.
