Full Time

1st Shift  (with flexibility to split shift timing)

The Work Order Specialist will perform materials team member duties which include warehouse and material handling, receiving, shipping, stocking, picking, and issuing.  Will learn and perform additional data management duties to support the plant’s MES/Proficy/Oracle system with focus on the timely, accurate processing of work orders, clearing errors, determining root cause of errors, and working with the production team to resolve issues.  Work cross-functionally across shifts to improve work order transactional discipline and inventory accuracy, to include performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, stocking, issuing, and recording locations
  • Support production by issuing, moving material, and virtually transacting all moves
  • Monitor daily work order status, resolve errors, determine root cause, and work to resolve future errors across the plant functional team and shifts
  • Work safely with respect to the plant’s EHS policy and procedures
  • Process components in compliance with internal processing requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Demonstrated experience with computers to include Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing and quality procedures in a lean manufacturing environment
  • Forklift experience with a strong safety focus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree, or equivalent Technical School certification
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail, data oriented;  Team player, customer focused
  • Proficy experience
  • Oracle experience
