Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Data Product Lead to drive the development and execution of our data products. This role will be pivotal in leveraging data to create innovative solutions that enhance business operations and deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, product management, and leadership, with a proven track record of successfully launching data-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Define and communicate the vision and strategy for data products in alignment with business goals.

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, including feature prioritization and release planning.

• Data Product Development:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch data products that meet customer needs and business objectives.

  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to deployment and optimization.

• Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, data scientists, engineers, and business units, to gather requirements and ensure alignment.

  • Present product strategies, progress, and performance to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders.

• Data Strategy and Governance:

  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

  • Implement best practices for data management, analytics, and reporting.

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

  • Analyze product performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.

• Leadership and Team Management:

  • Mentor and guide junior product managers and data analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve product goals and deliver high-quality results.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of data analytics, data engineering, and data science principles.

• Excellent project management skills, with experience using agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in data tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
