Job Description

Group Manager: Spare Parts

We are looking for a collaborative, purpose‑driven leader to join us as a Group Manager, Spare Parts.

Our Global Logistics function is at the heart of ensuring seamless, reliable delivery across our Service Parts Supply Chain. From managing global forward and return warehouses with precise inventory control to driving end‑to‑end reverse supply chain excellence, we keep our operations running efficiently and our customers supported.

In this role, you will help oversee transportation and inventory fulfilment—from vendors to warehouses and across our internal network—while continuously optimizing our global logistics footprint to improve efficiency and reduce cost. You will also partner closely with suppliers and our third‑party logistics (3PL) providers responsible for transportation and warehousing activities.

Your Role:

  • Lead with Purpose: Oversee our third-party return warehouse operations (our "Blue Rooms") to ensure consistent, high-quality performance across all regions.
  • Drive Performance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), both contractual and non-contractual, and drive improvements that deliver measurable results.
  • Support Sustainability: Manage cost and quality for our return logistics, playing a key role in enabling refurbishment, reuse, and circular supply chain strategies.
  • Champion Global Collaboration: Align and improve return processes across regions, working closely with local SPS teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Empower Your Team: Lead and mentor a diverse, global team helping them grow through coaching, development, and support.
  • Partner for Progress: Collaborate with our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team in India to optimize reverse supply chain processes.
  • Think Lean: Apply Lean methodologies to continuously improve processes and resolve exceptions with agility and innovation.
  • Own the Process: Maintain quality system documentation and ensure compliance with global standards in reverse logistics.
  • Shape the Future: Contribute to long-term strategic initiatives that transform the reverse supply chain landscape.

You are fit if:

  • A degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in customer service, project management, logistics or supply chain management
  • Deep understanding of reverse logistics, circular economy, and product returns
  • Prior experience or interest in developing an understanding of Export/import rules, policies and associated challenges.
  • Experience leading diverse and global teams
  • A collaborative leadership style that inspires and motivates
  • Strong background in managing a cross-functional team of innovators, supply chain, vendors and R&D experts
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, SAP, or Service Max is a plus
  • Skilled in analysing data and turning insights into meaningful action
  • A mindset of ownership, adaptability, and continuous learning
  • Proven ability to build inclusive, cross-functional relationships
  • Strong interest in deploying new technologies and digital approached to expedite resolution of supply issues is expected.

How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office-based role.
