ViiV Healthcare Canada is seeking a Omnichannel Marketing Associate Intern to join our team and accelerate our customer journey in Canada. The successful candidate will report to our Omnichannel Lead and sit on the marketing team, working hand in hand with our Multichannel Marketing Manager, our Digital Fuel Team and Long-Acting treatment and prevention Brand leads to optimize the execution of strategy. This is a great opportunity to gain breadth of experience.

The role is at the intersection of marketing, brand and technology. Where on one hand, you’ll be juggling with mainstream marketer’s perspective: innovative, practical, brand-safe, results-driven, resource and time constrained. And on the other hand, you’ll have to master the countless solutions available to succeed in today’s customer-centric, digital-first, and multichannel marketing environment.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Supporting ViiV’s omnichannel marketing strategy for DTC and healthcare professional audiences, across a portfolio of our global brands, unbranded treatment optimization campaigns, and the corporate brand.
  • Support creative development and media activation of the 360-marketing strategy, customer experience (CX) campaigns, marketing automation and sales tools.
  • Support development of offline and online initiatives that include digital ads, email marketing, paid and organic media placements, SEM and SEO, social media campaigns, digital banners, CRM tools, online videos, and website development.
  • Support our digital fuel team the implementation and adoption of the business plan and CX user journeys. 
  • Support the relationship with national sales to gather insights, brainstorm ideas, fix issues, get buy-in and make sure there is a 360-communication flow between the field and head office.  

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or business degree completed or be at the final stage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex issues with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High level critical thinking and complex decision making required as well as good business acumen and understanding of marketing processes inside and outside the organization
  • Effective problem solver, someone who can think through problems and develop solutions in an everchanging environment
  • Strong innovative mindset and awareness regarding opportunities to improve processes
  • A passion for digital technologies, marketing, media and analytics and the way they can help us improve customer experience
  • Understanding of marketing campaigns, strategy and objectives
  • Excellent project management capabilities to stay on top of details, deliverables and anticipate and propose solutions to potential roadblocks to keep activities on track

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS, BUT NOT A MUST

  • Knowledge and experience:
    • In Pharmaceutical marketing
    • With Veeva CRM and Next Best Action programs
    • Knowledge of PAAB and ASC regulatory bodies
    • Knowledge and interest in the Canadian pharmaceutical landscape
    • Experience in media planning strategy, execution and measurement
