Roles & Responsibilities:

 

The role of Findability Operations is to strategically evaluate the online product findability experience for customers as it relates to the site search experience while also evaluating the industry to create and test data driven ways to improve upon the customer’s shopping experience with Lowe’s.

The Sr. Analyst, will provide internal and external research and/or benchmarking, review/analyze customer information and other relevant data, conduct analysis, while also providing insights and recommendations within their assigned area. The Sr. Analyst will track, analyze, report, and lead final key customer search metrics to ensure query performance within their assigned area achieve the required benchmarks to meet financial objectives. They will actively create action plans and delegate to address key opportunity areas. The Sr. Analyst will serve as a member of a team of peers and will be expected to help coach and develop less experienced analysts:

  • Applies proven analytical and problem-solving techniques and skills to evaluate the overall relevancy of site-wide search results.
  • Builds search expertise to deliver best-in-class customer search experience and stays up to date with current and evolving query optimization best practices and functionality.
  • Support Cross functional partnership with Brand Advocate, Online Merchandising, Product Management, Data Science, Category Experience, Site Operations, Content working with Analysts-Directors
  • Collaborate with IT, technical product management and data science partners on intent-based, personalized navigation efforts by delivering business requirements, defining UAT/QC plans for Search specific AB tests and new feature launches. Presenting recommendations based on industry best practices and competitive review.
  • Mines search data and creates/executes plan for null searches and searches with low search engagement.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining query relationships across the customer-facing hierarchy structure and category specific attribute model.
  • Provides insights, competitive intelligence, and data driven recommendations for their assigned area

 

Required Skill Set

Primary

 

  • 2 years of experience in a high SKU Count retail environment
  • 3 years of online experience or Omni-Channel merchandising/marketing
  • 1 year of experience with background in analytics, statistics, business planning and/or finance
  • E-commerce Retail experience
  • Understand Web Analytics and Retail math, experience with Web Analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics)
  • Exposure to working on any Search tool
  • Worked as a member of a larger team and help coach and assist team members

 

Secondary

  • Experience in Customer Insights (CI), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Customer Experience (CX), A/B testing
  • Maintains knowledge and awareness of best practices within the company, competitors, and retail industry.
  • Experience assisting in strategy development for the business unit

 

Years of Experience

Education Qualification

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance or related field
