We Offer

You will play a central role in our organization's analytics and data team, setting standards for ETL, data modeling, and semantic models, with focus on delivering value-adding business reporting and actionable insights to leaders and decision-makers in direct link to our global strategy. You will be involved in all phases of the development and modernization of our platform, and help ensure that our deliveries are efficient, consistent and easy to maintain.

Our architecture is solely based on cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on automation, self-service, and reusability. We thrive in modern technologies while adhering to classical principles and best practices of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery team of external Data Engineers and BI developers
  • Design, implement, and optimise our practice for ETL, data modelling and semantic models
  • Set standards, develop and maintain business relevant data-models, metrics and KPIs
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders across organizational levels balancing competing needs while setting clear expectations to deliver impactful, actionable insights and data solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in the data infrastructure to ensure reliable and timely data delivery
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and standards.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a senior-level candidate with drive and confidence to take the lead and set a clear direction for our BI setup.

You must be fluent in oral and written English and hold a valid Danish residence and work permit for the role. On top of this we are looking for all or some of the below qualities:

  • A university degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a BI developer or Data Engineer
  • Thorough understanding of dimensional modelling, Data warehouse and Lakehouse architecture
  • Experience with ETL and data tools, Fabric or Azure Databricks, ADLS, and Data Factory
  • Experience with BI reporting tolls, preferably Power BI
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps (git), CI/CD and pipelines
  • Proficiency in related programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL and DAX
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Seniority and assertion to take lead and set the direction for our BI setup
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
