As a Services Team Leader – Resource Management, you will be responsible for managing all resources and logistics required to perform maintenance and service activities at customer sites. You will lead the planning, deployment, and development of Field Service Engineers (FSEs), ensuring efficient service delivery across turbomachinery equipment including compressors, gas turbines, and steam turbines.
You will develop operational plans, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across teams to ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
As a Services Team Leader – Resource Management, you will be responsible for:
Leading day-to-day management, scheduling, development, and staffing of Field Service Engineers (FSEs) for installation and service activities.
Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and compliance with all applicable EHS and quality policies.
Developing team capabilities through structured training programs, coaching, and certification pathways aligned with business strategy.
Collaborating with regional planning and resource management teams to meet customer demand and maximize resource utilization.
Working closely with finance teams to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
Coordinating with regional resource pools to ensure balanced workforce utilization in line with working time regulations and fatigue management policies.
Analyzing service demand (regional and global) to ensure optimal allocation and availability of FSEs.
Ensuring timely and compliant mobilization of FSEs through coordination with assignment and mobilization specialists.
Driving customer satisfaction by deploying qualified engineers and capturing feedback for continuous improvement.
Communicating effectively with team members, P&L leaders, and engineering teams during pre-job planning and post-outage reviews.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to meet operational and strategic objectives.
Traveling as required to conduct leadership engagement visits and meet with customers and field teams.
Developing annual operational plans and identifying opportunities to improve products, processes, and procedures.
Contributing to broader business unit planning and strategic initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Services.
Have an experience as a Resource Manager or Field Service Manager within the Oil & Gas industry.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of field service operations and resource deployment.
Be fluent in English (spoken and written).
Possess strong computer skills, including familiarity with standard business software tools.
Have knowledge of turbomachinery and compressors (preferred).
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
