Description -
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Total Rewards Consultant (m/f/d) who will provide an end to end program of employee benefits to the HP Inc. businesses and functions within the DACH cluster (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) in Central Europe.
Our benefits include Pension, Life insurance, Medical plan, Perquisite and Tool Cars plus a variety of country specific benefits and allowances. Program support includes the full spectrum of plan and design, analysis, communication and implementation as well as on-going administration to ensure benefit programs meet overall global Total Reward objectives. There will also be a smaller element of compensation support required therefore familiarity with pay frameworks, benchmarking and job architecture would help in the compensation consulting role.
The role holder will be a member of the EMEA Regional Total Rewards team and will work within the strategic frameworks set out by the Region and Global Benefits centers of expertise. They will be expected to build strong partnerships with local HR, Finance, Payroll, Procurement and Legal functions as well as consulting with business leaders and Employee Representatives on a variety of benefits and some compensation issues to address unique organizational needs and requirements. A large part of the role involves managing external benefits consultants, vendors and third parties to ensure program delivery and the role holder will use their knowledge of the external legal and regulatory framework to inform decisions and ensure on-going program compliance. Good project management skills are also key in this role as multiple stakeholders will be managed to ensure timely program delivery and implementation.
Job specifics/responsibilities:
Applying benefits’ subject matter expertise in multiple areas of specialization to design and implement programs to meet employee and business needs
Understanding the local market and reward practices within the IT / high-tech industry and delivers programs aligned to the company total reward strategy
Developing relationships with key business, functional leaders, third parties and vendors
Contributing to benefits or compensation projects that impact employees and businesses
Being accountable for impact analysis of benefits programs and initiatives. Ensuring program compliance and implementing legally mandated requirements
Maintenance of all Total Rewards policies
Working with Wellness ambassadors to run country Wellness programs
Occasionally conducting due diligence and analysis, and submitting recommendations for Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Outsourcing transactions
Professional experience and skills required:
Bachelor or Master’s degree
4-6 years of professional experience in the Total Rewards environment or similar role (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, Payroll)
Fluency in English and German language – reading and writing
Strong systematic understanding of Total Rewards systems, as well as other HR functions
In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to employee compensation and benefits
In-depth understanding of employee/labor relations and their interaction with compensation & benefits topics
Excellent communication, leadership, and influence skills
Strong financial and business acumen
Strong project management, problem solving, and analytical skills
Strong sense of customer, proactive, enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated, open minded professional
