Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a senior regional leader to build, implement, and scale APAC Category Management capability across priority IFM categories. This role is responsible for designing a federated category management framework that balances global, regional consistency, with country-specific execution realities across diverse APAC markets, including Australia, India, Singapore, and other priority countries.

About the Role:

  • Lead and develop the APAC Category Management team, fostering a high-performance and innovative work environment.
  • Provide strategic direction and coaching to deliver effective category strategies and preferred supplier programs.
  • Drive procurement excellence across IFM categories using advanced methodologies (spend analytics, market intelligence, benchmarking, and cost modeling).
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team with clear governance, decision frameworks, and capability development.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and strong stakeholder engagement across a matrixed organization.
  • Lead cost optimization initiatives through sourcing strategies, demand management, and total cost of ownership (TCO) approaches.
  • Align category strategies with procurement priorities, business goals, and client requirements.
  • Establish and monitor supplier performance, governance models, and preferred supplier program effectiveness.
  • Leverage data analytics to generate insights and drive informed decision-making on third-party spend.
  • Drive continuous improvement and change management initiatives, including process enhancements, tools, and supplier innovation.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, MCIPS, PMP) are preferred.
  • 10–15 years of experience in category management or procurement, preferably within Facilities Management or Real Estate.
  • At least 7 years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong expertise in procurement processes, IFM categories, supplier risk management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement and influence business outcomes.
