Daily challenges::

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various customer contracts and contractual documents, including contract amendments, Statements of Work, Change Notices and others

  • Provide ongoing advice to account teams regarding legal and commercial implications of specific contract terms and conditions, including analyzing, drafting and reviewing IT contracts with respect to complex commercial activities

  • Work alongside internal stakeholders to assist with legal support in responding to any current Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal governance aligned with the company’s` policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Delivery and Operations, to identify contract requirements and resolve any issues or disputes and respond to customer letters.

  • Support account teams with amendments to existing agreements and contract renewals

  • Conduct thorough contract analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement

  • Track contract milestones, deliverables, and obligations to ensure timely execution and fulfillment

  • Provide ongoing advice to account teams regarding legal and commercial implications of specific contract terms and conditions

  • Develop DXC's positions on various legal matters and establish best practices for contract management processes

еXperience and skills required:

  • Master`s degree in Law; (A Business or Law Degree from a French or Belgium University is a strong advantage)

  • Professional Fluency in French and English

  • At least 5 years` experience in a global corporation and/or a law firm, with a solid understanding of contract law and negotiation techniques. Outsourcing/supplier experience would be considered an advantage

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Good working knowledge of the legal provisions of commercial contracts and ability to provide guidance/interpretation on them

  • Demonstrable knowledge and judgment about contractual and commercial risks/issues in transactions

  • Proactiveness and strong eye to detail

  • Ability to work remotely and within a team and build relationships with other business functions (Sales, Finance, Delivery)
