Performs basic mechanical functions for designated District.

Essential duties include the following:

• Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner. 
• Troubleshoots mechanical entities to determine problems and offer improvements when necessary.
• Maintains work orders and records with sufficient background to ensure requirements for quality have been met.
• Provides mechanical assistance to other mechanics as required.
• Practices good housekeeping in keeping shop floor clean.
• Performs parts cleaning related tasks, may assist in parts inventory or parts management related tasks.
• Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
• This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
