About the Role
The storeperson is tasked with performing stock logistic duties efficiently, safely, accurately and in a timely manner. This includes ordering, receiving, picking and distributing medications to clinical areas. You will ensure Imprest sites are stocked according to predetermined levels and report usage changes to your line manager. In some areas you will utilise automated dispensing cabinets ensuring they are accurately stocked.
Classifications for this position will be GK6 ($31.65000 per hour) plus a 25% casual loading.
Your Contribution
Receiving stock into pharmacy
Processing receipt of stock in the pharmacy computer dispensing system
Stock management including stock rotation, expiry checking, sorting stock, packing in alphabetical order on shelves.
Accurately and efficiently distribute imprest supplies to wards and clinical areas, including bar code scanning of stock, picking and processing requisitions, delivery and distribution to wards, satellite pharmacies and clinical areas and putting stock away in correct location.
General Store duties
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)

Position Description
LOCAL WORK ENVIRONMENT
St Vincent’s Hospital Pharmacy Services operate within a decentralised pharmacy environment, providing services based out of a central pharmacy and supported by a number of satellite pharmacies located in patient treatment areas across the main St Vincent’s Fitzroy campus. St Vincent’s Pharmacy Services also span St George’s Hospital, Caritas Christi Hospice both in Kew and also external Correctional Pharmacy Services.
We provide a broad range of pharmacy services to inpatients, outpatients and correctional facilities within a practice research environment. The pharmacist is a key member of the multidisciplinary health care team which delivers care in a patient focused manner.
Pharmacy support staff work closely with pharmacists to ensure that both frontline services and backend services are delivered in a quality, timely and cost effective manner.
