We are looking for an Associate Director, Operations to lead key strategic projects as we scale our RTE business. Reporting to the Factor_ EU COO, you will work across all functions and teams within our business (supply chain, production, culinary, quality, ops tech, etc.), supporting our most pressing priorities. You will lead multiple high-impact, complex programs and projects at the same time, support core operations as needed, and proactively propose new projects and opportunities.

You will:

 

  • Define, document, and continuously improve all processes in the site, collaborating closely with other departments to execute facility-wide initiatives

  • Build & establish a strong team with a leadership pipeline; coach and develop talent within each functional area of fulfillment (Prepping, Production, Assembly, Food Safety & Quality, and Fulfillment)

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to define, monitor and continuously improve key performance indicators across our business (quality, efficiency, cost)

  • Be the liaison between the site operations and other functions within Headquarters, helping your team to identify the key priorities for the site

  • Develop high standards for execution to meet all KPI’s & financial metrics while supporting your team in achieving daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals

  • Dive deep into different areas of the business - e.g. supply chain, production, culinary, quality, ops tech - to understand and solve complex problems, improve decisions and processes, identify initiatives to improve our operations and the daily customer experience, and to make recommendations to the senior leadership team

At a minimum, you have/are: 

  • 8+ years of experience at a top tier management consulting firm, high-growth startup, manufacturing company, or in a hands-on data-driven environmentKnowledge of / background in Lean and Agile Production, Food Manufacturing, and Fulfillment is preferred

  • Outstanding problem solving and communication skills

  • A problem solver’s mentality; you see problems as opportunities and see the benefit of doing things differently 

  • An advanced project management toolkit

  • The desire to excel in an unstructured and fast-paced environment

  • Computer literate; you are fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications (spreadsheets, slides, etc) 

  • Fluent in German and English
