The North America Transportation Operations Network Strategy & Design Operations Key User is responsible for the analysis of cost, service, and capacity in P&G’s transportation network. This individual identifies areas for improvements on system setup, processes, leads system measures, and finds ways to simplify the process to eliminate losses. The NATO NS&D Operations Key User is an advanced Transportation Planning Role within Market Operations. The role involves broad exposure to physical distribution work processes, physical distribution master data, and often deals with the more complex business issues that arise. The role includes responsibility to deliver cost and service objectives, both directly and through coaching of others. Responsible for assuring adherence to standard work processes and solutions and to create and maintain systems solutions. Key tasks include: Systems optimization and improvements, systems Issues Management, ticket creation, monitoring and follow-up, communication with Business Process Experts, IT, and systems Vendors to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Includes leadership responsibilities, development and maintenance of expertise, and training others to use systems solutions.

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education, however, a two or four-year college degree or equivalent administrative experience is preferred.

Skills/Experience for the role:

  • Mastery Technical Skills – Ability to navigate Tableau Dashboards, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Knime
  • Develop technical skills with Transportation Management Systems, Rate Manager, Lane Change Management, Tariff, and SAP
  • Mastery Business Skills - Participation and engagement in cost saving projects and provide feedback on losses/work processes
  • Leadership – Ability to lead, influence and work effectively with all levels across multiple organizations
  • Communication – Can effectively communicate written and verbally
  • Operate with Discipline – Demonstrated ability to create and execute action plans
  • Priority Setting – Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
  • Strategic Thinking – Demonstrated strategic thinking skills and the ability to build plans that deliver both short-term and long-term needs of the business

Starting Pay / Salary Range: $64,000-$88,700

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
