Senior Manager, FP&A

The Senior Manager, FP&A is responsible for turning our financial planning and reporting efforts into a well-oiled machine that works quickly, accurately, and that is built to surface meaningful insights to enable leadership to make informed decisions. This role is in the unique position to see everything in the company cross-functionally, and therefore can help connect dots across the organization to optimize financial performance.

What you will do:

  • Managing the total company P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement for both actuals, forecasts, and 3 year planning, highlighting key takeaways
  • Leading the Forecast and Budget process within FP&A, which includes (1) developing and owning the planning calendar in partnership with timelines from the accounting team, (2) communicating due dates and deliverables within FP&A, and (3) developing and owning templates, as appropriate
  • Leading the development and production of monthly/quarterly reporting for senior leadership, highlighting key action items and take aways
  • Identifying, developing, and reviewing corporate metrics that are needle movers for long term company financial performance
  • Administering the financial planning software used by the FP&A team, including performing ongoing development and maintenance
  • Managing total company headcount, benefits rates, tax rates, comp increase, and any other corporate assumptions
  • Driving the close process from an FP&A perspective, coordinating with FP&A team members to ensure timely and accurate close and serving as primary liaison to the Accounting team
  • Understanding and presenting actual vs forecast financials, making it a point to call out action items/ next steps
  • Driving automation and standardization efforts across FP&A with a goal of increasing speed, accuracy, and consistency of reporting and planning
  • Forecasting for select P&L accounts, including Stock Based Compensation and income tax
  • Managing forecast accuracy by identifying trends and taking action to adjust the forecast process (as necessary) to improve accuracy

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or other related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of Corporate Finance experience in a high growth company; public company experience preferred
  • Excellent financial/business modeling and analysis skills. Expertise in Excel. Demonstrated ability to create, navigate and explain complex models.
  • Prior experience administering a financial planning tool
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and creatively, apply business acumen and exercise judgment
  • Proven track record of achievement, self-motivation, initiative and integrity
  • Intellectual curiosity with a continuous thirst to understand the why, and initiate new insightful conversations
  • Highly productive and efficient. Able to thrive managing multiple projects under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively consistent with Intapp values

For California based roles, Base Pay Range is $170,000- 190,000/yr .  Your actual base salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, geographic location, and internal equity.  In addition to base salary, variable compensation and equity may also be included #LI-JS2
