SWIVEL is seeking a talented individual to be responsible for overseeing the coordination and facilitation of the software release process to guarantee smooth and timely delivery of applications and infrastructure into all environments. This position is also responsible for overseeing and implementing the standards, processes, and tools for this function.

You will be working with development teams across SWIVEL and other departments within SWBC to understand their future needs and solve problems through proof-of-concepts and working prototypes.
Essential duties include the following:
- Defines and governs an enterprise CI/CD strategy including the application of DevOps principles, management of human and technical resources, schedules, quality controls, audit controls, reporting, automation and all levels of communication.
- Defines, develops, implements and governs an enterprise automated CI/CD pipeline for the progression of application and infrastructure code in all environments.
- Coaches, mentors, and trains DevOps engineers to analyze, implement and manage scripts, tools, and systems that support continuous and on-demand build/release schedules for SWBC systems and applications.
- Determines the readiness of each release based on release criteria and govern the go-live activities including the development and execution of the deployment plans and checklists
- Builds metrics and reporting to identify system weaknesses and addresses them through continuous improvements.
- Works with development leaders to understand future initiatives and ensures DevOps standards, processes, and tools are updated to adequately support their ongoing needs.
- Balances and prioritizes team workload across innovation, engineering support, customer support, and tech debt.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study from an accredited four-year college or university required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and software development required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in release management and utilization of DevOps practices.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification required.
- Experience with Azure or Google Cloud.
- Able to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities.
