To support business growth and strengthen our Real Estate function, we are seeking a Senior Manager - Real Estate Project Management to lead and execute complex real estate and construction projects across India. This role will be based in Vadodara and will play a key role in driving strategic real estate initiatives, including greenfield developments, facility expansions, leased property management, and industrial construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects within cost, quality, and timeline objectives while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams. This position also forms a critical part of the succession planning strategy for the Country Real Estate Manager role.
How You'll Make an Impact
Partner with business units to understand real estate requirements, define project scopes, conduct risk assessments, and develop implementation plans aligned with stakeholder expectations.
Lead site selection activities for greenfield projects, including the evaluation of owned and leased property options in collaboration with business teams and external consultants.
Manage the end-to-end design process, translating business requirements into architectural and engineering solutions for industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities.
Evaluate, appoint, and manage architects, engineering consultants, and specialized service providers to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
Drive vendor evaluation, tendering, bid management, and techno-commercial assessment processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, cash flow projections, and capital expenditure plans for annual budgeting and project approvals.
Monitor project progress, report regularly to stakeholders, resolve issues proactively, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams and oversee multiple concurrent projects while maintaining project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards.
Manage lease administration activities for leased facilities, including renewals, terminations, and associated approval documentation.
Support the continuous improvement of real estate project management processes and standards across the organization.
Develop and mentor team members through coaching, performance feedback, and effective delegation to build a high-performing organization.

Your Background
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Significant 20+ years of experience in real estate, industrial construction, project management, or facility development within a large multinational or industrial environment.
Strong expertise in managing greenfield and brownfield construction projects from concept through completion.
Proven experience in site selection, design management, contractor management, tendering, and commercial evaluations.
Knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, capital expenditure planning, and financial management principles.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and leading cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of construction safety standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced and complex business environment.
Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
