As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Test activities are completed with quality.

• Acts as the primary point of contact for Functional and Automation Test activities.
• Leads all efforts relating to testing and/or coordination of release control efforts. Plans and reviews test models for product test and release control (e.g., plans, data, and scripts.)
• Defines test plans and criteria for acceptance. Defines testing quality standards, guidelines, and testing methodologies for the team. Assists in defining the test strategy and release planning.
• Provide technical advice and consultation on complex, critical issues and escalations
• Owns specific modules and may lead a sub team on a test deliverable.
  Understands the quality framework defined for the product.
• Reviews and updates test plans and maintains the Quality Management System.
• Proactively identifies scope for automation. Ensures test coverage, productivity and quality benchmarks are met.
• Ensures the effective adoption and utilization of testing tools. Ensures the review of test artifacts and tracks to closure.
• Involved in product review meetings.
• Coordinates the development, updating, and maintenance of testing standards and procedures.
• Reviews the test, validation, and pilot results to make sure they meet the entry and exit criteria.
• Has hands on experience in one or more automation testing tools and has the ability to coach junior staff will be an added advantage.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a broad range of Testing ecosystems.
• 3+ years’ experience in working on UK Mortgages or Savings market.
• Prior experience working on UFSS will be an added advantage.
• Establishing and evolving formal Test automation practices, test processes, methodology, standards, and hygiene for agile development efforts.
• Mentoring Test Team members across a global team
• Provide ideas for Test strategy, test design /plan, functional test automation, and drive test execution for application services initiatives.
• Defect tracking and test case management using software systems like Azure DevOps
• API testing through tools such as SOAPUI, Postman
• End to end automation testing through Selenium or equivalent tools will be an added advantage.
• Good to have knowledge on Cucumber / BDD framework.
• Good to have knowledge on UI/UX testing.
• Ensuring that all testing related activities are carried out as per the standards defined by the company
