Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market. What You Will Do

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of FCC’s strategic initiatives, by understanding the interdependencies, size, complexity, and scope of multiple programs and projects.

Working closely with Project Managers, the Project Coordinator will support both Agile and Waterfall

based initiatives throughout the entire lifecycle of planning and delivery. The coordinator will prepare project artifacts (Charter, Project Schedules, Resource Plans, RAID) and reporting that drive decision making at Senior Management levels.

  • Support project delivery by coordinating project management activities, resources, and information.
  • Liaise with business partners other projects and internal teams to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparing agendas and tracking follow‐up tasks.
  • Develop and maintain FCC’s project/portfolio management processes and best practices.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure project repositories such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint are up to date.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Completed Post-secondary Degree (University/College) or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience coordinating and scheduling tasks within a project
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word), Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI/Tableau
  • Experience working within the Financial industry is highly preferred
  • Agile/SAFe/Scrum Master Certification is an asset

  • Ability to schedule meetings, coordinate team activities, and update project timelines in Outlook, Teams, and project management software
  • Capability to create reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
  • Understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong ability to impact and influence decisions, build relationships
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including technical and non‐technical members
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership over project task
