What you will do:

The Sales Support Engineer is responsible for designing the air conditioning system mainly the main chiller plant which will include piping and some ductwork distribution. Conduct cooling load analysis and selection of the air conditioning equipment and its auxiliaries.

For the energy audit function, he is responsible for conducting energy audits in commercial and industrial buildings mainly for the air conditioning system and other mechanical systems involving ventilation and water pumping distribution. Identify the potential energy conservation and efficiency measures. Determine the retrofitting and improvement to reduce the energy consumption.

How you will do:

  • Preparation of an energy audit plan to conduct a Level 1 and Level 2 energy audits for commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Undertake and supervise the data gathering activities with the client and the actual instrument monitoring and measurement of the operating parameters of the utilities.
  • Coordinate with the client’s representative for the onsite energy audit activities such as walk through in the facilities, measurement of equipment operating parameters, securing operating logs and records, maintenance records, electric bills and as-built plans.
  • Coordinate and manage the service providers sub-contracted for the data gathering and instrument measurements.
  • Review and validation of the data gathered to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
  • Observe the performance and operation of the facilities and equipment and identify areas where energy wastage is suspected.
  • Identify the potential energy savings from the operation of the facilities.
  • Analyze the data gathered from the log records and instrument measurements to determine the energy utilization and benchmark the facility.
  • Preparation of an energy audit report conforming to the Department of Energy requirements.
  • Based on the audit data gathered and the identified potential energy conservation, develop the concepts for the retrofitting and design of energy efficient air conditioning and mechanical systems.
  • Prepare the design of energy efficient air conditioning proposed to retrofit the existing system that will reduce the energy consumption and improve the system efficiency.

What we look for:

  • Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering
  • Licensed engineer.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in the design, installation, commissioning and verification of building services facilities.
  • Must have good understanding of the HVAC, water distribution and basic electrical distribution.
  • Able to read and analyze building services schematic diagrams, equipment schedule, operating and maintenance manuals.
  • Understands concepts of energy conservation and efficient design.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Auto Cad.
