Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Strategy & Pre‑Launch Planning

  • Lead the development of the Go‑to‑Market strategy for all upcoming products, ensuring strong commercial positioning and differentiation from early stages.
  • Build the Brand Plan pre‑launch chapters, including disease landscape assessment, customer segmentation, value proposition development, and commercial opportunities.
  • Define clear launch commercial objectives, success metrics, and priority KPIs aligned with business expectations.
  • Ensure that pre‑launch strategies are grounded in robust market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needs.

2. Launch Readiness & Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Chair and coordinate the Launch Excellence Team, ensuring alignment across Marketing, Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Access, Supply Chain, Finance, and external agencies.
  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Launch Plan, securing full cross‑functional readiness for each launch milestone.
  • Drive scenario planning, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies to ensure launch continuity.
  • Ensure all internal teams have the tools, training, and processes needed to execute the launch flawlessly.

3. Commercial Execution Preparation

  • Lead the development of pre‑launch promotional materials, disease awareness campaigns, and omnichannel tactical roadmaps in collaboration with Marketing Excellence.
  • Build and execute early engagement strategies with key customers, institutions, influencers, and external stakeholders.
  • Define and prepare the sales model, including targeting strategy, field force sizing, deployment, capability building, and commercial resources.
  • Ensure Market Access teams are supported with value communication, pricing inputs, and early payer engagement plans.

4. Insights, Forecasting & Scenario Modelling

  • Collaborate with BI/Insights teams to generate market opportunity assessments, competitive analysis, and early forecast models.
  • Identify growth drivers, barriers, and white-space opportunities to inform strategic direction.
  • Continuously monitor market signals and competitive dynamics to refine and optimize commercial launch strategy.

5. Internal & External Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the commercial ambassador for future brands, presenting strategy updates to senior leadership, global teams, and field teams.
  • Ensure strong alignment with European and Global Launch Excellence to leverage best practices, playbooks, and cross-country learnings.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and key influencers to accelerate market preparation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (Marketing, Sales, Market Access, NPP, or Launch Excellence).
  • Proven experience in GTM strategy, brand planning, or new product launches.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to transform insights into commercial strategy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills in highly cross‑functional environments.
  • Strategic thinker with strong executional discipline and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
