The Job:

As a Sr. Engineer for Pneumatic and Hydraulic project. You’ll get to:

  • Coordinate and motivate the project group inside and outside to Deliver and close the project on time.
  • Maintain and manage the resident product complying with the company quality standard
  • Task assigned by the leader

The Person

  • Bachelor above in Mechanical
  • Minimum 5 years project engineering/leadership experience in a design and manufacturing environment where a moderate volume of mechanical and electro-mechanical components are made/used.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiar with Catia, Creo, AutoCAD and Windchill software is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, good English.
  • Strong analytical thinking, ability to solve problems and disassemble complex requirements.
  • Knowledge and background on electrical would be preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Able to work with 3d assemblies and 3d component models.
  • Able to create 2d prints
  • Able to understand 2d prints and communicate with supplier providing feedback to the design team.
  • Able to learn SBD’s PLM data-based system (Windchill)
  • Able to understand stack-ups
  • Interface with the Suzhou material’s team as needed.
  • Has solid mechanical aptitude  
  • Will need to interface with components suppliers.
  • Be a liaison between the design team and supplier
  • Will need to support design and manufacturing teams:
  • Test plan support with Taiwan and Suzhou test departments
  • Help develop test fixtures with test department
  • Work with Reliability to create and monitor FRACAs
  • Implement corrective actions per instructions from design teams.
  • Work with test departments to implement test plans
  • With manufacturing team to create PFMEAs
  • Provide support to create Work Instructions for assembly lines.
  • Aid manufacturing to design assembly line fixtures and End of Line testers
  • Work manufacturing to provide guidance for any online gauges per quality plan
  • Review and help disposition FPI’s
  • Understand SPAPP documentation
  • Work with SQE’s and Suppliers to review supplier quality plans.
  • Able to support prototype build during the early product development phase
  • Provide engineering support for NPD – Supplier Confirmation Builds (SCB) – Manufacturing Confirmation Build (MCB) – Production Build
  • Able to create and submitted REAs and CN’s
