Key Responsibilities
Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision
Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering test reports with limited supervision
Develop, design, or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope
Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision
Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers. Generate mechanical product specifications.
May be responsible for the design, development and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle. Establishes standards across all operational processes
Specify and review engineering documentation

Roles and Responsibility
Work with global teams to design sub systems / systems of process chambers used in semiconductor equipment industry.
Develop, design, or modify mechanical engineering concept/layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope.
Product Design & Drafting of Machined/Structural/fabricated/ Sheet metal components using CAD tools (UG NX & Teamcenter)
Perform engineering analysis of moderate complexity with limited supervision. Analyze simple FEA problems / hand calculations.
Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers. Generate mechanical product specifications.
Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficultly with limited supervision.
Implements concepts for variety of complex product issues and mechanical solutions.
Our Ideal Candidate
Strong Knowledge of mechanical engineering design, Heat Transfer, Engineering drawings, GD&T/ASME standards, Materials & Manufacturing processes.
Good knowledge of materials – ferrous & non-ferrous metals, Ceramics
Worked on new product development, involved in the product design life cycle from the concept and feasibility phase to prototype development to hand off to high volume manufacturing.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies.
Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
Excellent communicator can present his/her ideas clearly and can explain the approach to the solution of a technical problem succinctly.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Master’s degree preferred.
10 - 13 Years of Experience
Previous work experience to include mechanical engineering experience in a product development and manufacturing environment.
Semiconductor equipment industry preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge in Vacuum Sciences – Advantage
FEA structural & Thermal-Advantage
Working experience on metal CVD and ALD hardware engineering and knowledge
