About the role

We are seeking passionate and person-centered AIN’s who are in their 2nd/3rd year of university nursing studies in 2025 OR have an overseas qualification as a Registered Nurse (not yet registered with AHPRA).

We have multiple Assistants in Nursing positions available across our operating theatre services including pre admissions and pre-operative, intraoperative and post-operative services to commence in January 2025.

These positions will work within the Perioperative and Continuum of Care nursing team to assist in the delivery of quality care services to patients within our facility. These positions provide opportunities for Undergraduate Nurses or overseas qualified RN’s to be exposed to the acute care areas of Perioperative Nursing.

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellence in customer service

  • An ability to work within a team environment

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks

  • An enthusiasm to provide safe & high quality  patient centered care in the perioperative environments

  • Proven ability to take direction whilst remaining within scope of practice

  • Ability to complete basic fundamental clinical skills, to assist the RN/EN workforce in all perioperative nursing areas
