Role Summary:
The SAP Plan to Manufacture Business Analyst at Flowserve plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing and supply chain processes within a complex engineer‑to‑order (ETO) and make‑to‑order (MTO) environment. This position serves as a bridge between Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure SAP S/4HANA solutions effectively support Flowserve’s global manufacturing operations. The role is based in either Irving, TX or Houston, TX and requires 40–50% travel within North America.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing ETO and MTO manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to gather and document detailed business requirements.
• Design and configure SAP PP, PP‑PI, QM, and PM modules for Flowserve’s discrete manufacturing needs, including aftermarket and custom products.
• Map complex business requirements to SAP functionality to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
• Lead or support SAP implementations, upgrades, and global rollouts in partnership with consultants, data teams, and end users.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing aligned with Flowserve quality standards.
• Provide post‑go‑live support, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
• Create user documentation, training materials, and process flows for manufacturing
Requirements:
• Based in Irving, TX or Houston, TX.
• Ability to travel 40–50% within North America.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in SAP PP/MM/PM/QM configuration and business analysis in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ETO/MTO product flows.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Plan to Manufacture, PLM integration, and MES connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of master data, BOMs, routings, production orders, and variant/configurator scenarios.
• Understanding of regulatory and quality requirements including ISO, customer audits, and traceability.
• Strong analytical ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills.
• Experience with SAP project methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment.
Preferred:
• Experience in industrial equipment or flow control manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with Flowserve product lines such as pumps, valves, and seals.
• Deep experience with the SAP Quality Management (QM) module in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success enabling operational efficiency in custom and standard product manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate proactively with global teams and adapt to evolving business needs.
