Industrial Print Sales Operations is the backbone of the business activity, driving processes and tools to keep the sales motion meanwhile increasing our customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. This area works collaboratively with the Sales Organization, Business Management, Services, and many other key stakeholders, driving operational excellence and manage business continuity risks.

Job Description

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Accountable for the AMS/Guadalajara Sales Operations processes, analysis, performance improvements, statistical and financial metrics.  Serves as a technical liaison between the organization’s teams, stakeholders and vendors.  Exercises independent judgment by acting as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities. Facilitates information validation and team decision making process working collaboratively with management, stakeholders and 3rd Party Vendor leader within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select solutions. Focused on research, analyzing, validating and documenting business requirements, and to ensure that those requirements clearly reflect true business needs, representing all Sales Operations areas and stakeholders.Translates business needs into system/application requirements and project components to help determine solutions to business problems.  

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and work closely with management and team member of our GDL Sales Operations Team to define & recommend necessary process and training implementations/adjustments
  • Collaborate with other regional focal points and the WW team to leverage best practices, implement necessary metrics and Key Performance Indicators and its proper monitoring
  • Identify areas of opportunity within the business activities performed; provide guidance on process improvements and recommend changes accomplishing work and achieving objectives
  • Identify and comply with procedural changes within the organization to achieve the highest level of operational excellence
  • Act as liaison between Management and other business process & analytics roles to simplify and standardize processes with accuracy
  • Comply with procedural/audit/records retention policies
  • Drive any process optimization needs, and quality assurance aligned to new system or process implementations
  • Document requirements and translate into proper system requirements specifications using high-maturity methods and tools
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements
  • Provide analytical and reporting on a specific cadence and upon request
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to support management of scope and expectations

Education and Experience Required:

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in any business administration related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in business operations, business process improvement, change management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
  • Worked on self-directed activities with minimal supervision
  • Possesses a sense of urgency with ability to stay focused on goals and objectives
  • Strong Teamwork, partnering skills and relationship building

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English and local language, with ability to build and maintain strong internal/external relationships
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio. Other statistical software knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and strong process orientation
  • Project management skills such as design, planning, execution and implementation.
  • Detailed oriented and problem solving
  • Soft skills also include: strong teamwork, tolerance of ambiguity, ability to influence and persuade, problem solving, decision-making, flexibility, creativity, initiative, and presentation skills

  • Impacts multiple teams and may act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.
