Team Overview:
The PAL team is focused on aggressive growth of the audience and subscriber base of Dow Jones consumer titles (The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and MarketWatch) globally by forming partnerships with financial services companies, other publishers and membership organisations. In addition, the PAL team supports Dow Jones’ revenue growth by fuelling DJ’s important professional information products Factiva, Newswires and Risk & Compliance services.
Key Role Responsibilities:
The role plays a key part in contributing to the overall objectives of the International Enterprise team by managing key client relationships and renewing and optimising existing accounts in APAC. This role will be integral to driving meaningful countable volume growth and incremental revenue via our partners to contribute to our overall membership & revenue targets.
Reporting to the Client Engagement Director, APAC, the Client Engagement manager you will be responsible for:
Building and maintaining excellent relationships with key clients; This means face-to-face and virtually, ensuring all DJ services are delivered and maintained with your client in accordance with their contract with us.
You are expected to remain strategically-minded in order to satisfy internal DJ targets across the wider PAL team in line with ‘united Dow Jones’ view. This means setting & managing goals with your clients whilst balancing our overall business objectives across other PAL divisions including Licensing and professional partnerships.
Supporting overall relationships with media and other partners which may include multifaceted relationships that include both licensing content and data for our Business Intelligence business and growing Dow Jones subscriptions.
The role requires marketing consultancy skills in order to diagnose support required to selected key partners. This will include designing and measuring partner marketing campaigns that drive activation & engagement results.
The role will require you to have a layered approach to your clients and be comfortable dealing with with a range of stakeholders from senior commercial heads, editorial, product, marketing and data & technology
Set and achieve revenue and volume growth targets through effective and data-driven sales and marketing strategies, and by developing and executing customized client engagement plans.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client industries, markets, and business challenges, and use this knowledge to create tailored solutions that address their needs and exceed their expectations.
Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure client satisfaction and engagement, and to identify areas for improvement.
Key Skills Required:
5+ years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing or a related field.
Proven track record in handling successful client relationships with consumer-focused businesses.
Ability to develop and execute engagement marketing strategies across multiple clients
Good level of business acumen and data analysis & visualisation
Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and explain to stakeholders
