Job Summary:

The Director of Finance & Strategy plays a pivotal leadership role in driving the financial performance and strategic growth of our healthcare organization. This position will help fuel Geode’s growth – balancing financial analysis with broader strategic projects. The Director is responsible for integrating financial strategy with operational goals, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and performance targets. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership to drive data-driven decision making across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Provide financial modeling and insights to support strategic decisions on investments, cost control, and growth initiatives.
Analyze financial performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify trends to inform decision-making.
Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, presenting financial results and variance analysis to senior leadership.
Partner with executive leadership to align financial goals with overall strategic priorities.
Analyze key business metrics, identifying areas for improvement and growth in both clinical and non-clinical operations.
Support new service line development, ensuring financial feasibility and resource allocation.
Develop and implement key metrics and dashboards to assess the health of the organization.
Use data to identify opportunities for growth, risk mitigation, and operational improvements.
Work with leaders across Clinical, Marketing, People, Talent and Operations to gather relevant data and transform it into actionable insights.
Build strong relationships with department heads, providing financial advice and guidance to support departmental goals.
Serve as the point of contact for all financial aspects of major projects and new business ventures.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree; Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

3-5 years of progressive experience in Consulting (MBB), Finance, or relevant development programs at a healthcare organization.
Extensive experience in data analytics, FP&A, and financial modeling.

Skills

Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of healthcare finance systems and regulations (e.g., reimbursement models, cost structures, value-based care).
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data, generate insights, and present clearly to stakeholders.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel modeling.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop and execute long-term business plans and operational improvements.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
