This is a hybrid role that requires working in our Dublin office two days per week.

Your Day to Day 
As a Manager, Business Development, you would be working on: 

  • Pipeline Generation & Strategy — You will lead a team of 10 BDRs to build high-quality top-of-funnel pipeline across the UCC business. 

  • Team Leadership & Coaching — You will coach, develop, and mentor early-career sales talent through structured 1:1s, call coaching, and pipeline reviews, helping build a strong talent bench for the broader organization.  

  • Sales Execution & Pipeline Quality — You will run rigorous BDR/AE opportunity reviews, challenge pipeline quality, and ensure the team delivers qualified opportunities that convert into revenue.  

  • Operational Excellence & Innovation — You will analyze performance data, implement structured team cadences, and drive adoption of AI and automation tools to scale personalized outreach and improve efficiency.  

 

What We’re Looking For 
As a Manager, Business Development, your background will look like: 

  • Demonstrated experience managing a BDR or SDR team, including direct ownership of headcount and performance outcomes; or a high-performing Account Executive with a strong track record in SaaS sales who is ready to step into their first people leadership role, bringing the credibility and experience to effectively coach, mentor, and challenge the team from day one. 

  • Proven sales closing experience with a strong understanding of deal progression and pipeline conversion.  

  • Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding pipeline generation and meeting targets.  

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach or similar).  

  • Strong outbound prospecting expertise, including building and executing multi-channel campaigns. 

  • UCaaS / CCaaS industry knowledge preferred.
