Associate, ADVentures

Founded in 2025, ADVentures (ADV) is the corporate venture capital fund of Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), investing in early-stage startups focused on Advanced Systems & Robotics, Climate & Energy, and Human Health. The Associate is responsible for helping generate and screen top-of-the-funnel investment opportunities and support the team in due diligence and fund operations. This role will report into the Head of ADV.

Key Responsibilities:

Dealmaking responsibilities (60%) will include:

  • Market research: Support the research and analysis of disruptive technologies and business models with non-obvious implications for ADI, including producing written research/analysis and sector presentations for ADV and ADI stakeholders
  • Deal origination and screening: Proactively build our investment pipeline globally, identifying and sourcing high-potential investment opportunities that are aligned to ADV’s mission and goals
  • Due diligence: Support aspects of the deal review process, including quantitative analysis (e.g., financial sensitivity analysis), competitor and market scans, customer interviews, and technology reviews. Draft documents as necessary for the ADV team.

In addition, the Associate will be pivotal to ensuring strong corporate venture operations (40%), including:

  • Tool management: Manage internal pipeline and CRM tool and contribute to internal-facing reporting on portfolio health.
  • Portfolio engagement: Support commercial partnerships (e.g., pilots, joint development agreements) between portfolio companies and ADI to deliver tangible strategic value and provide ongoing support to help ADV portfolio companies succeed.
  • Communications: Support the creation of ADV insights briefs and internal annual report.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and/or with a technology company
  • Proven project management capabilities, with comfort in working concurrently on multiple deals and projects
  • Excellent analytical, research, and modeling skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated interest in technology, venture capital, and startups.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $95,600 to $131,450.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
