Role Overview
We are seeking a Technology Leader with strong expertise in emerging technologies to drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative technology solutions. The role involves leading high-impact initiatives, mentoring technical teams, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of technology initiatives leveraging emerging technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery.
- Evaluate, propose, and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance business processes and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business, architecture, and delivery to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, quality standards, and governance frameworks.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on expertise in emerging technologies such as AI/ML, and Cloud-native solutions, or similar.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologies.
- Good knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams of technical professionals.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development with exposure to leading complex technology projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions using emerging or evolving technologies.
- Prior experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers or team members.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Oversee planning, development, and execution of projects involving emerging technologies.
- Provide day-to-day technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to team members.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Assess new tools, platforms, and technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Continuously track technology trends and apply relevant innovations to ongoing and future projects.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant technical or industry certifications in emerging technologies are preferred.
