Territorial Executive multi accounts

We are looking for a number of Territorial Executives to join our Sales & Marketing team here in multiple locations across Mexico (Guadalajara, Merida, Mexico City and Monterrey).

This Territorial Executive role is your opportunity to drive the sales success of [insert number] stores in our [insert location] territory.

This will be a great opportunity if you have proven sales skills in retail settings. Your time will be spent largely in the field visiting stores - to support, upskill and motivate their teams. You can make a high-profile impact on performance through your people skills and sales knowhow.

Reimagining insurance to make a bigger difference to the world

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) is a global leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions; we are one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. It is an exciting time to join us — across our operations, we are thinking in new and innovative ways to deliver ever-better solutions to our customers. At AIG, you can go further to support individuals, businesses, and communities, helping them to manage risk, respond to times of uncertainty and discover new potential. We invest in our largest asset, our people, through continuous learning and development, in a culture that celebrates everyone for who they are and what they want to become.

Make your mark in Sales and Marketing

Our Sales and Marketing team are the integral link between our business and our customers – making connections, growing relationships and opening new opportunities. The team are in tune with the needs of customers, partners and AIG business strategy. AIG sales and marketing careers offer the chance to make a tangible difference to performance while growing your skills and expertise.

How you will create an impact

You will take responsibility for a network of retail stores that offer our insurance products with the sale of items such as electronics, tech and household appliances. We want you to visit each store several times a month to engage the staff and power their performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and scheduling visits, training, sales clinics.
  • Reviewing and following up sales performance of different retail stores in your territory. Establishing sales commitments and holding two-way feedback talks with managers and team leaders
  • Providing Product and Sales Technique training, periodically.
  • Ensuring relevant staff have the knowledge required to upsell products such as Extended Warranties.
  • Ensuring stores are fully supplied with Terms & Conditions contracts and point of sale material.
  • Spending 10% of the time in the office on administrative tasks, such as reports on sales and training activity, expense reports and operational meetings.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for relevant sales experience in a similar role or as a supervisor or manager in a retail setting. Ideally you will have knowledge of electronic equipment sales such as laptops, home appliances and audio and video systems – however this is not essential if you have an interest in these types of products. We are also looking for:

  • Good negotiation, persuasion and communication skills.
  • Solid administrative, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of providing sales training and feedback.
  • A results-oriented approach.
