ADI is currently seeking a Vice President, Supply Chain to develop and execute Operations strategies across the region.

In this role, reporting to the EVP, Global Operations and Technology, you will own the entire supply chain process for ADI and operate at the enterprise level to enhance customer trust and make it one of the reasons customers will choose ADI products. Develop and lead supply chain optimization for better customer service at lower inventory levels. Groom and build a strong organization with good deep bench strength. Be a change agent to incorporate ML/AI in our demand planning and planning systems. Build strong and trusting relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.

SKILLSET FOR ROLE

  • Owns supply chain as a business.
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain planning systems (e.g., JDA Engine / Blue Yonder) to manage a remarkably diverse end market product portfolio (e.g., consumer, industrial, automotive, communication).
  • Ability to break down complex issues, systematically identify root causes, develop solutions, and implement actions to address the root cause.
  • Ability to take different points of view (e.g., demand signals) and leverage analytics / ML/AI to drive alignment for likely scenarios.
  • Develop strong and trusting relationships across business units, sales, and operations.
  • Develop long-range planning for Supply Chain. Lead implementation of strategic initiatives to increase customer trust, simplify complexity and improve people productivity and growth.
  • Plan and execute supply initiatives to provide a competitive edge – customer service level, business continuity, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Master’s engineering degree (M.S.) or equivalent required (Industrial Engineering, ChE, EE, MechE,  Applied physics, or equivalent field preferred).
  • 20+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, ideally previous experience as a global supply chain leader in an organization with a high number of products and SKUs.
  • Have a track record of success and continuously exceeding expectations and results.
  • Continuous learning mindset. Obsess over how to improve results across the organization.
  • Exposure to semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing a plus.
  • Experience with implementing AI/ML to improve Supply Chain also a plus.
  • Ability to take different points of view (e.g., demand signals) and leverage analytics / ML/AI to drive alignment for likely scenarios.
  • Business acumen. Demonstrates knowledge of and analyzes markets and competition.
  • Intelligent Risk Taking. Bring an outside in mentality and be willing to push boundaries in the pursuit of the best outcome.
  • Ability to set strategic direction and build a sense of shared purpose and vision.

TRAVEL:

  • Approximately 30% travel to ADI locations as well as suppliers globally.
